That’s fine - I’m glad someone read it and actually felt something! If I reblog one of your posts (all of which I love), I promise it’s not a suck-up-thankyou for reblogging mine - I just genuinely like your stuff.
Thanks again and go you!
I had coffee today with a friend I dont get to see too much of, as he lives in the city and attends social activites that happen outside of my kitchen, and this was nice. What I enjoyed most wasn’t that we got to catch up, or that I got to see what a cardigan I considered buying looks like on a real person (looks like I saved myself $89.99), but it really got me thinking about how comfotable I actually am within myself and that pretentious twats should kiss my bottom!
People need to stop saying things/going to things/listening to things/wearing things to please other people, or appeal to what the cool kids like. Build your life to be something that you admire and enjoy living, learn about what you believe in, then believe in it! Cool kids are cool because they do what’s right for them, and don’t judge others or themselves by an insecurity. **
Don’t be ashamed of your flaws! Pimples are yucky, so why not acknowledge the fact that pimples are Satan’s skittles and then get over it? Christmas pudding is something very yummy but will also make you fat fat fat, so why not be fat together and laugh till our merry bellies shake themselves off? I miss my Mum when she’s gone for too long, and whilst this makes me a cry-baby, it also shows I have a bit of compassion and appreciation for the person that birthed me, and I’m sure if you thought about it, your Mum means a lot to you too.
These things arent bad, and they shouldn’t be hidden - they’re a bit funny and a bit silly and are more interesting to talk about, compared to whether or not having a beard makes a person sexy (which it does. Ooh yes Jake Gyllenhal, it does indeed.***).
I just think people need to learn to be ok with themselves, be wild and do what they like not what their friends like, have a biscuit and just calm the fuck down.
[**having good personal hygeine such as brushing your teeth and not growing long scary zombie-toenails will also make you a Cool Kid.
***beardless faces are sexy too. Yes they are Henry Holland, yes they are indeed.]
No way! I just had a peep at yours, and there is clearly some stiff competition. But thanks all the same!
Your self shots are nice too.
They’re online at www.soludos.com - theyve got a heap of colours and patterns too. The ‘womens’ selection has more than the ‘mens’, and they’re a really good price for shoes, especially if theyre environmentally friendly.
I got it as a gift, but from Etsy. Everything on Etsy is completely handmade, and really cheap! Just go on www.etsy.com and type in ‘ear cuff’ and look through what comes up.
Type in whatever else too, if you’re spending it up.
I cleaned, polished, and water-proofed all of my shoes and my leather backpack.
My lack of a life may be sending me mad, but I’m getting things done and keeping my feet safe from all future rain.
